Lard and Pork Crackling - Pot on the Stove

Making lard and pork crackling in a pot on the stove is straightforward, especially if the ultimate goal is to make lard and have the pork crackling as a spin-off of that process. My preferred method for pork crackling crispiness is using the air fryer, but if that's not an option this is a very good alternative method. It is quick and easy and not overly time-consuming.

Crispy Pulled Pork Bread

Crispy Pulled Pork Bread makes a wonderfully healthy addition to any meal. It crisps up nicely in the frying pan, and can be used as a sandwich base among other things. It taste delicious and has a lovely golden finish to it.

Crunchy Lard Spread

Adding a few pork crackling crumbs to any dish can always be a good idea and I am pleased to say that this spread is no exception. The pork crackling crumbs add a new dimension to the deliciously creamy Eskimo Kitchen lard.

Mini Madeleines

These mini ''Madeleines'' were inspired from the madeleine or petite madeleine which is a traditional small cake from the Lorraine region in northeastern France. Madeleines are very small sponge cakes usually with a shell shaped appearance. As they have a very similar taste and texture, these little beauties were born!

Lard and Pork Crackling - Air Fryer

Lard is a natural fat that you can make in your own kitchen without any special equipment. It has several advantages over other oils/fats, not least that it has one of the highest smoke points, so it is less prone to oxidative degradation. This makes it an excellent fat to use for frying and deep-frying.

Pulled Pork Bread

First of all, what's not to like about pulled pork! It's deliciously succulent and juicy and is a great crowd pleaser, especially when you have lots of family and friends over. So I was eager to create a pulled pork bread that shared these wonderful qualities, with a good PKD ratio, and a taste that both PKD and non PKD folks alike will enjoy! The bread has a nice crust that forms on top and is sturdy enough for sandwiches. It can also be pan fried to make it nice and crispy to accompany various dishes.

Crunchy Tallow Spread

This crunchy tallow spread is exactly what the name suggests, spreadable with a slight sweetness and a little crunch to it. A great twist on the basic tallow for certain recipe occasions.

Mini Liver Pancakes

These cute little liver pancakes take next no time to cook and are great way to consume liver on a regular basis in a fun way! You can eat them as is, or why not add your own favourite toppings to them! They make the perfect party food and are great when you simply feel like an extra boost of liver.

Rosemary Infused Tallow

This rosemary infused tallow is lovely and fragrant with a little sweetness and crunch provided by the pork crackling crumbs and honey. The tallow is delicious as a condiment for use in sweet and savoury dishes alike. It also spreads really well straight from the fridge.

Raspberry Mayonnaise

Creamy Bone Marrow Mayonnaise is already magical, but add some deliciously fresh raspberries to the mix and it takes on an even more amazing flavour! The colour is nice and vibrant for moments when you are looking to have your condiments really stand out visually and provide an extra boost of flavour to a dish.

Oxtail Mountains

Oxtail is both delicious, useful for the body and beneficial to our health. It is packed with flavour and has many nutritional benefits. I was so impressed with Zsófia Clemens's recent oxtail jelly creation that I felt it only fitting to feature one as a summer recipe creation on the site. I love the mountains, and in summer they are especially magic and refreshing, so I hope this dish will be both uplifting and beautiful to you too!

Parma Ham Brunch

A quick, easy and filling snack or main meal that is super delicious and creamy. The crispy bread makes for the perfect sandwich base for the Parma ham and crumble topping.
