Breakfast Soup
I whipped this soup together for breakfast this week, hence the original name! It was deliciously tasty and very filling with lots of nutrient dense ingredients.
It's incredibly easy to make and wonderful to enjoy at any time of the year. The nutrient boost this soup provides, will ensure the day starts off well whatever you have planned.
Oxtail Munchies
These little buns are packed with flavour and nutrients. They hold their shape well, and yet have a nice soft interior. They have a great PKD ratio as well. Who knew that oxtail could marry so nicely with sour cherries! They are ideal as a healthy light meal when you're on the go, especially while out hiking or on a day trip.
Oxtail Crunch Rolls
I am always looking for new ways to present simple ingredients that go well together. These oxtail crunch rolls have all the crispiness of the cooked Parma ham combined with the smoothness of the oxtail and whipped oxtail fat filling. All, nicely drizzled with an oxtail sauce reduction that provides a nice intense flavour to the dish.
Leg Of Lamb - Slow Cooked In The Oven
This Slow Cooked Leg of Lamb is going to take your next Sunday roast to a whole new level! It is extremely easy to make, but you will have to be patient as it's going to be a low and slow type of cook. However the reward will be the most amazingly tender lamb leg with meat that literally falls off the bone, served with flavoursome cooking juices and bacon slices. What's not to like!
Meat Flake Buns
I love creating buns out of nutrient dense ingredients, that don't require the use of traditional flour. The meat flakes allow the creation of such lovely buns and provide wonderfully moist and flavoursome balls of goodness, with no real effort. The sour cherries add an extra dimension to the flavour profile.
Braised Beef Cheek - Slow Cooker
Beef cheeks are in my mind a really under-appreciated beef cut. They're rich in gelatine and collagen since they are covered with tiny connective tissues. They lend themselves so well to a low and slow method of cooking, becoming very juicy and gelatinous in the process!
