Tips

Ideally, purchase your pig skin from pasture raised animals that are Nitrate, Nitrite & Additive Free.

Be sure to use free range, organic eggs if you are making custard to fill the shells. Whether you can eat eggs may depend on your condition, medical history, the time you have been doing PKD and your health goals. If you're unsure, please consult with ICMNI in Hungary (Home - Nutriintervention).

Any ingredients listed as Optional, may or may not be appropriate if you are following Strict PKD with No Allowances. If you are unsure, refer to the Paleolithic Ketogenic Diet Rules document or consult with ICMNI in Hungary (Home - Nutriintervention).

Any honey or fruit in the Spring 'Chocolate' Shapes should be of organic quality, and are only recommended in small quantities for those who have recovered from any kind of health condition.
